Anna Patrick

AnnaAnna began playing the piano at the age of three under the tuition of her mother. Anna received her AMusA on piano at the age of fourteen and soon after received her LMusA at the age of sixteen under the instruction of Mrs Veronica Berry. Anna is also a proficient flautist and received her AMusA on flute at seventeen. In recent years, she developed an interest in singing and was awarded Honours for her Grade 8 AMEB exam. Anna studied classical voice with Adele Nisbett at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University in 2007.

Anna is a keen musician and has gained extensive experience performing in cultural and corporate events throughout Rockhampton. She has also taught many students and has accompanied for The Australian Ballet, in Eisteddfods and for AMEB music exams. Anna has also been the répétiteur for several musicals and has accompanied ballet lessons.

Amanda Patrick

AmandaAmanda began playing the piano at the age of five and received her AMusA on piano in 1995. She completed her Bachelor of Education/Music from Central Queensland University in 2000. Amanda then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Music and a Master of Music Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, studying piano with Steven Savage and harpsichord with Huguette Brassine. She then studied a Master of Philosophy at The University of Queensland focusing on French harpsichord music in 2007. Amanda gained the foundation of her experience in Rockhampton where she taught piano privately and was an accompanist for Eisteddfods, choirs and for AMEB music exams.

She has performed with Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, the Sinfonia of St Andrews, the Queensland Mandolin Orchestra and other Baroque ensembles. Amanda is involved in the biannual production of Handel’s Messiah at the City Tabernacle Baptist Church where she is the harpsichordist and the répétiteur for the choir.

Igor & Irina Orlovskiy

igor-irinaIgor began playing the violin and Irina, the cello, at the age of 6. Igor studied at the music school for gifted children at the Ekaterinburg Conservatoire in Russia. In 1989, Igor and Irina went on to complete a Diploma of Music specialising in instrumental performance at the Tchaikovsky Music College in Ekaterinburg. It was here they first met and were married in 1992. From 1993 -1998 Igor and Irina completed a Master of Music at the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Music and Pedagogical University in Moscow, Russia.

For about 20 years, Igor and Irina have been travelling and performing around the world both as soloists and in a number of chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras, including the Russian Philharmonia Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and Auckland Chamber Orchestra.

In 2008 Igor and Irina moved to Australia and set up the Vivaldi School of Music in Brisbane, where they have a successful business teaching private students. Their international teaching experience includes also Russia, Holland and New Zealand. Igor and Irina have 6 children and are devoted parents to them. Igor continues to perform both as a soloist and musician in Brisbane orchestras. In recent years, Igor and Irina play with A Classical Occasion in and around Brisbane.
